Each gate is meticulously assembled, employing a combination of mortice, tenon, glue, and doweled joints. This ensures not only strength but also a seamless and elegant appearance. This appearance can be made even bolder with our range of rich wood treatments to really make the wood pop.
For gates with curved rails, our skilled artisans employ their expertise with a bandsaw to hand-scribe these beautiful curves, adding a touch of artistry to your gate. The gate's character is further enhanced with the addition of tongue and groove boards. These boards are carefully glued and pinned, creating a flush and visually appealing surface that's inset into the framework.
To ensure optimal functionality and longevity, we chamfer all edges and tops of our gates. Moisture can cause wood to distort and swell - this precision detail allows water to run off the gate, preserving its pristine condition.
