Built using traditional Scandinavian redwood this softwood gate offers the dependability and security that you deserve from your side entry wooden gates and wooden front gates. While this might be our simplest set of single wooden gates, this doesn't mean the Village design doesn't offer timeless style and wouldn’t be a great addition for your front gate, wooden garden side gates or on the rear of your property. The Village design is built using the perfect mix of modern and traditional and unlike a slatted gate, these wooden gates are solid gates with no visual access and are finished with a simple straight line at the top. The frames for these wooden gates are made with 3-inch planed timber that is then filled with 4x2 planed bracing and inset boards. We also offer two different styles of gate hinges and the option to purchase a gate lock if you feel like you need an added bit of security.
They undergo full quality control before being packaged and sent via a third-party courier service. An email will be sent after the gate is dispatched and you will receive a call to make sure someone is there to collect and sign for it.

Size guide
Single gate:
- Take the smallest measurement.
- Take off the thickness of the posts (our wall posts are 45mm each)
- Take off 30mm (15mm either side) for expansion and movement.
- This is the width of the gate required.
Example of a gate with 2x matching wall posts:
Gap size: 970mm
Take off 90mm for the posts: 880mm
Take off 30mm for movement and expansion: 850mm
Gate width required: 850mm
Single gate height:
- Order the height of the gate you require from the bottom of the gate to the top of the horns at the side of the gate.
- We recommend leaving a 30mm gap below the gate when installing.
Double Gates
- Take the smallest measurement.
- Take off the thickness of the posts (our wall posts are 70mm each)
- Take off 45mm (15mm gaps for either side and in the centre) for expansion and movement.
- This is the width of the gate required.
Example of a gate with 2x matching wall posts:
Gap size: 3535mm
Take off 140mm for the posts: 3395mm
Take off 45mm for movement and expansion: 3350mm
Gates width required: 3350mm (gates tight together)
Double gates height:
- Order the height of the gate you require from the bottom of the gate to the top of the horns at the side of the gate.
