Featuring a 70mm thick mortice and tenon framework, 95mm x 45mm thick bracing, and inset boards, this gate offers a sturdy, long-lasting structure that brings both security and beauty to your garden.
The Village design gate is available with optional upgrades to suit your needs:
- Premium galvanised heavy-duty adjustable hinge kit for added durability and performance.
- Premium heavy-duty gate lock, which comes with 5 keys, providing enhanced security.
- Matching wall posts, designed to extend 45mm from the wall for a sleek and finished look.
- External UV protection oil, offering extra protection for your gate, ensuring it remains in pristine condition through the seasons.

Made to Order
Every Village design garden gate is crafted to order in our workshop in Cheshire. Once your gate is dispatched, you will receive an email with an estimated delivery date. Our third-party courier will also call to confirm a convenient time for delivery, ensuring you are available to receive and sign for your gate.

Size guide
Single gate:
- Take the smallest measurement.
- Take off the thickness of the posts (our wall posts are 45mm each)
- Take off 30mm (15mm either side) for expansion and movement.
- This is the width of the gate required.
Example of a gate with 2x matching wall posts:
Gap size: 970mm
Take off 90mm for the posts: 880mm
Take off 30mm for movement and expansion: 850mm
Gate width required: 850mm
Single gate height:
- Order the height of the gate you require from the bottom of the gate to the top of the horns at the side of the gate.
- We recommend leaving a 30mm gap below the gate when installing.
Double Gates
- Take the smallest measurement.
- Take off the thickness of the posts (our wall posts are 70mm each)
- Take off 45mm (15mm gaps for either side and in the centre) for expansion and movement.
- This is the width of the gate required.
Example of a gate with 2x matching wall posts:
Gap size: 3535mm
Take off 140mm for the posts: 3395mm
Take off 45mm for movement and expansion: 3350mm
Gates width required: 3350mm (gates tight together)
Double gates height:
- Order the height of the gate you require from the bottom of the gate to the top of the horns at the side of the gate.
- We recommend leaving a 30mm gap below the gate when installing.
